The Oil Spill

Its was an early march morning and I the Ocean was warming my waters from the early morning sun and all the creatures I housed were out and about enjoying life as they did every day. When I awoke This day I had a feeling the something was going to happen. I knew no huricanes or storms were goin to happen but still I felt like something big was coming. I talked to the wise creatures of my waters and they also could feel something was goin to happen. We asked the creatures of the sky and they too felt something was on its way. We talked among eachother for awhile and realized none of the creatures of this world could tell what ws goin to happen. We decided the humans must be doin something with all there technology and tools. We all decieded to give up and just wait and see what cool things the humans were up too. Later that day as I was thinking about this feeling I had. All of a sudden I feel a rumble in my stomache and then pain and more pain and before I know it all the water creatures are swimming away and going crazy. Then I look and this blackish stuff coming up from the bottom of my seas. I see the birds of the sky telling my that the oil rig the humans have been working on has exploded. They told my to leave. I told them I could not leave its my resposiblity to take care of the creatures in my waters. I was the oil spill and I tried making large waves to get my friends to safty but the more I tried the more I was weakening the black fluid was killing me. I decided to stay with my ocean friends till the end and if they die then I too die. As as the black oil started to take over me and the animals in my waters. I woundered why the humans would do such a thing to us. They have everything and yet they take and take and never give. Yes they are the dominate species on this planet but that comes with responsibility. In order to take you must give and the humans dont understand that. I see them in there boats trying to clean up the mess they made they have put alot of money into cleaning me up but it would have taken alot less to insure that this didnt happen in the first place. So as I die here with all my ocean creatures and sky creatures I hope the humans learn from this and not make this mistake again because next time this earth may not be so forgiving.
